VT bit wasn't enabled in BIOS so Windows 2008 refused to install. So far, I've had the following unexpected issues: Very glad it did as I'm in the middle of upgrading our main file server to Windows 2008 and the system is down for everyone. However, this was an install of a new Windows 2008 operating system on an existing VM that had Windows 2003 on there and when I edited the VM to remove and re-add the network adapter it started working. I also could not get the network interface working either - showed up with error in device manager. Same problem here on ESX Server 3.5.0, 110181 - error with SVGA driver.
